*****Did you know that you crucified Jesus Christ?*****

Did you know that you crucified Jesus Christ?

If you believe that it was the Jews alone, you are wrong.

If you believe that it was at the hands of the Romans, you are wrong.

It was the Jews, the Romans, you and I. We all crucified him. We are all guilty of the blood that was shed at Calvary.

Everytime you cheated on your spouse, you crucified Jesus Christ.

Everytime you gossiped about your neighbor, you crucified Jesus Christ.

Everytime you sat at your computer and invited pornography in your household, you crucified Jesus Christ.

And yes you too, you who took the time to cheat to get a higher income tax return, you crucified Jesus Christ.

Romans 4:25

He was delivered to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.

If Jesus Christ had not become the atonement for our sins, we would have had to pay the penalty, and the wages of our sins is death. He did this to save us?

How can we not praise his name? How can we not worship him? How can we not accept responsibility for his death?

But if you truly believe that you are not responsible for his death, do you truly believe that your body will be raised in glory and power?

*****Did you know that we all will have our time before the Lord?*****Of course we will, why wouldn’t we, let’s look at it. As a believer, I find it amazing when unbelievers would come to me and knock those television evangelists who are always up in front of the screen pleading for money. It’s amazing for a couple of different reasons. The first amazing thing is how even the unbelievers have the discernment to tell that the television evangelists are polluting the airwaves. Then why is it that the believers don’t have discernment to tell this? Why is it that our brothers and sisters of the faith continuously falling prey to a Word of Faith ministry? Why is it that our brothers and sisters of the faith continuously giving their last penny to a get rich quick scheme, such as these ministries?

1 Timothy 6:10

For the love of money is root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

It is true that there are many who sold their souls to the devil for the love of money, for the love of fame, for the love of women. And you are correct my unbelieving friend, that these polluters of the gospel will have their time before the Lord. But so will you. It will be asked of us "What did we do with the name of the Lord". Some of us have used it as advancement for their financial gain. Some of us have used it as a tool to obtain fame. But you my unbelieving friend has used it as a tool for idle chatter. You have used the name of the Lord as gossip at the water cooler. When you persecute the followers of Jesus Christ, you persecute Jesus Christ. When you make fun of how we try to live a holy life, you make fun of Jesus Christ. When you reject any sound biblical advice from the children of God, you reject sound biblical advice from Jesus Christ. When you make excuses to God’s children of why you don’t believe, you are making excuses to Jesus Christ.

You are correct my unbelieving friend that some of these television evangelists are in for a rude awakening, but so are you. You my unbelieving friends are without excuse. Jesus Christ did not tell you to follow these television evangelists, he said to follow him. Jesus Christ did not tell you to follow the hypocrites of the church (that you complain about), he said to follow him. He did not even tell you to follow the righteous, he said to follow him.

Romans 1:20

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature- have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

There are only two places where we can possibly spend out our eternity. One is Heaven with our Lord and Creator. The second is Hell, which was created for the devil and his legion. There is not a third place for people with good excuses. There is not a third place for people who didn’t have a clue. There is not a third place for people who sat on the sidelines.

My unbelieving friend, allow those television evangelists to work out their own salvation. You need to worry about your own. Repent and be saved.

*****Did You Know how you can be saved?*****

Almost every human being that I've ever talked to believes that there is a higher being or higher force in our universe.  The one question that sits on the mind of most of these people is "Is this higher being or force the God of the Bible?"  I would say yes.  What makes me so certain?  I'm glad you asked let's look at it.

1.  For starters what is the biggest thing that sets the God of the Bible apart from the gods of all other religions?  That would be prophecy.  The Bible is combined of 66 books.  The Old Testament contains 39 books, while the New Testament contains 27 books.  All of the books in the Old Testament were written hundreds of years before the New Testament came into existence.  Within these Old Testament books there are many prophetic messages which has taken place in reference to the coming of the messiah (Jesus Christ), as well as the plight of the Jews.  Herbert Lockyer does an excellent job in "All the Messianic Prophecies"of pointing out the prophecies of the coming messiah.  There are too many prophecies alone to be concluded as coincidental.

2.  Another one of the biggest things that sets God and the Bible apart from all other religions is the resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Now the word resurrection has been thrown around a lot, so a lot of the zest has been taken away from what has actually occurred.  So if we look at it in layman's terms, it means that someone who was dead has risen back to life.  Now we Christians don't just believe that this event happened just because the Bible says it did.  It is an event that occurred with surrounding evidence.  There are many great Christians who have explained the resurrection.  But I'm going to allow our brother Lee Strobel to explain it in his book "The Case for Christ".  I found this to be one of the easier reads but at the same time very thorough, which I'm sure a lot of us appreciate.

3.  Third, we have one of the most compelling evidences which is more accessible, and that is the changed lives of those who follow the God of the Bible.  There are many of us who walk the earth who are witnesses to God's truth.  There are some of us who have come from the darkest of lifestyles to come into a lifestyle which many would label angelic, and for some this change has occurred overnight.  There is one way of describing such a dramatic change and that would be spiritual.  In "Did You Know" I explain my personal testimony and there are many others in the faith that have testimonies that would convict you that there is a God.  We have brothers and sisters in the faith that are laying down their lives for the truth of Jesus Christ all over the world.  Our family from the "Voice of the Martyrs"can enlighten you in that area.  Do you think that I would have exposed myself of my past and my weaknesses in my book if I didn't know that it was for a higher purpose?

4.  Fourth, many of today's academic studies have tried to explain away the existence of God, Jesus Christ and the truth of the Bible, such as science, social studies, history, etc.... this would also include the list of former atheists who have tried to dismiss the Bible based on what they believed to be contradictions.  Not surprisingly, they have always come up short.  Many of these historians and scientists have actually become believers of the Gospel based on their findings after failing on their attempts of trying to prove God to be a liar.  As far as the contradictions, I believe that our brother Dave Hunt does a great job explaining away many of these is his book "In Defense of the Faith".

Now that we have established that the God of the Bible is this higher force or this higher being that has been following you all of your life, because the Bible teaches that there is no other God besides him.  Now what?  If you were an unbeliever and may possibly believe that the God of the Bible is real after exploring the above mentioned reading material which is linked below on your own, or if what I wrote above was more than enough to shed light on this issue, what happens now?  You now have a choice to make.  The Bible teaches we have all sinned (Romans 3:23), and that our sin punishable by death (Romans 6:23).  But because of God's amazing love for us, he has given us a way of becoming right with him.  He has allowed his son to become the atonement for our sins.  That if we were to place our faith in him and believe that he died on the cross for our sins we shall not die, but shall receive everlasting life (John 3:16-21).  If you would like to place your faith in Jesus Christ now, you can say aloud this prayer or one similiar:

Dear God, I realize that I'm a sinner
I realize that my sins deserve to be punished
I realize the the punishment for my sins is death
I believe that your son Jesus Christ died for my sins
I now accept your son Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior
I thank you for forgiving me of my sins
I thank you for the gift of salvation and everlasting life
Please fill me with your Holy Spirit
So that I will have the power to repent of my sins and to live a life pleasing to you
I pray this in the name of your son Jesus Christ
Amen

If you prayed this prayer and through faith accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, I would like to be the first to welcome you to the family of God.  I would like to also extend my deepest and warmest arm of comradity, if you have any questions about your faith whether biblical or just personal, before you plug in with a good Bible believing church, feel free to press the "Contact Me" button above, and I will do my best to answer any question you may have.  God Bless You.

DID YOU KNOW THAT THE WOLVES HAVE GOTTEN TO THE FLOCK?

This one goes out to all of those unsaved pastors who are preying on the women in the church.  Repent and be Saved.  Don't think we don't know what you are doing out there.  You are laying with woman after woman in the church, manipulating them during their period of weaknesses.  Unfortunately, in some cases, these encounters are developing fatherless children.

1 Thessalonians 4:3-6

It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God; and that in this matter no one should wrong his brother or take advantage of him.  The Lord will punish men for all such sins, as we have already told you and warned you.

Now you may say, "But I'm a pastor, of course I'm saved, I'm just in a backslidden state."  I'll tell you the truth, you have been deceived.  If this is your habitual practice, then you are walking in the darkness.

1 John 2:9

The one who says he is in the Light and yet hates his brother is in the darkness until now.

If you are causing who you believe to be a sister in the faith to fall and stumble with you with deliberate intent, then you hate her.  And if you hate her, then you are in the darkness because the love of the Lord is not in you.

Examine yourselves to see if you are in the faith.

Did you know that the wolves have gotten to the flock? Part II

 Revelation 2:19-23

I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first. Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways.

So after reading all of that, which one of you pastors may think that you are guilty of allowing wolves to teach at your church. Oh come on surely you believe that there are false teachers and prophets walking the earth today. Jesus never said that they would come for only a season. Jesus and Paul warned us consistently of bewaring of them. So much emphasis would not have been put on it, if there were only one or two of them out there. Unfortunately, that is not the case, and what makes it worse is that the wolves don’t even have to masquerade to get into the church anymore, because the shepherds are opening the doors wide open for them. If you are a pastor, then you are the shepherd over the flock that meets regularly at your church. If you are allowing the wolves to tear them apart with their false teachings, then you might as well be the one who is left standing with the knife in your hand. You will be held just as guilty because of your ignorance or lack thereof. You will be held just as guilty because of your desire to draw a big name to your church for possible financial gain. You will be held just as guilty because of your desire to draw more attention to your church. What did you expect, did you expect God to say, "Good call good and faithful servant, now your church will finally be revived". No, you will be held accountable for every individual that walks away from that church that knew the truth and then starts believing that God is a spiritual ATM machine. You will be held accountable for every individual that walks away from that church that knew the truth and then starts believing that the reason that they are not in great health is because of their lack of faith. You will be held accountable for every individual that walks away from that church that knew the truth and then starts believing some polytheistic version of who God is. You will be held accountable for every individual that walks away from that church that knew the truth and then starts believing that all religions refer to the same God but our interpretations may just be slight different. Once again, do you know who will be accountable for this destruction Mr. Pastor, YOU WILL. You can enjoy your time now hobnobbing with who you think are the elite class of today, but as God continues to work on those teachers to repent for what they teach, he is waiting for you to repent as well. He is waiting for you to repent for your part in opening the doors for them and sacrificing the flock for your own personal gains.

TOP 10 DID YOU KNOW’S

    1. Did You Know that the institution of gay marriages is just asking for trouble?

Now believe me I’m the furthest thing from being homophobic. I have both family and friends who are homosexual who I love dearly. But my love for them doesn’t mean that I condone their way of living. Romans I is very clear that God sees homosexuality as a perversion. God loves these beings more than we ever could imagine. But the bottom line is this; any church that wishes to step into the realm of the unknown and partake in these marriages will fall in the end.

    2. Did You Know that the term "Gay Preacher" is an oxymoron?

Now to our brothers from the Episcopalian faith who approved the seat of Bishop Robinson, I’m sure you guys have got to be kidding. I trust he is an honorable gentleman and a nice guy to be around, but he does not deserve a position of leadership over God’s people. (See Top Ten 1)

    3. Did You Know who was sitting next to you in church?

Sometimes I have to ask myself that. Why do I find myself sometimes next to the cell-phone ringing, gum chewing, lustful eyeing, lack of sleeping, fart passing individual who is concerned about everything but what is going on at the podium. Is he purposely there to distract God’s children, or am I reading too much into this?

    4. Did You Know what happened to the power of the Holy Spirit?

Nothing happened to the power of the Holy Spirit, but something happened to the requests of the Holy Spirit. The great men of church history asked for the Holy Spirit to revive the church and to initiate a great revival in their lands. The supposed great men of today are asking for the Holy Spirit to revive them and their ministries. Is it just me, or is this an issue of pride?

    5. Did You Know that music is not evil?

I hear often how Contemporary Christian music, Christian Rock, Christian hip-hop, Country Gospel, etc… is belittled by some of our more legalistic or narrow-minded or old-fashioned Bible teachers. According to some, these forms of music will never lead anyone to the Lord. Well first of all, music is good, because God created it. The evil is not music, but what men do with it. When God is drawing someone closer to his son, the Holy Spirit is capable of using anything to touch that person’s heart. That would include music, a movie, a book outside of the Bible, and most of all another one of God’s children. Anybody who would debate that, would be denying the power of the Holy Spirit.

    6. Did You Know that Jesus is the Lamb of God?

Of course he is, he is also the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, etc… So what does this mean to you? Well it means that he’s not your homeboy, your home-slice, your man, or whatever hip terms you may call him on your bumper stickers, your t-shirts or whatever. Those names are degrading to the Lord of Hosts and blasphemous to say the least. I don’t know about you, but I don’t bow down to any of my "home-boys".

    7. Did You Know that today’s public education has more time for every religion except for Christianity?

I find it amazing that my two daughters can come home knowing more about what Confucius or Gandhi taught, than what Jesus taught. Not that I would truly want my kids to be taught by their teachers what Jesus stood for, because I believe that should be the job of each individual parent. But to ignore the spiritual downfall of feeding our children the teachings of these teachers, who deny the deity of Christ, can be deadly. Evidently many people in power within the public school system has allowed themselves to be pawns of the evil one.

    8. Did You Know that every Christian is an evangelist in some shape or form?

Well if you ask some professing Christians, they believe that this is not something that they believe that God is calling them to do. Nowhere in the Bible does the scriptures mention the liberty of Christians to keep their faiths to themselves. Actually it is just the opposite. Jesus tells his disciples to go out into the world and to be witnesses to his truth. It is said, "Beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news". I guess according to you "No news is good news".

    9. Did You Know that reverence has been thrown out of the window?

Now I know this summer has been pretty warm, but if I see another adult wearing a Mickey Mouse T-shirt during Sunday service I’m going to scream.

    10. Did You Know that God is still working on me?

This means that if any of the other 9 from this list, outside of something that is biblical offends you, then don’t worry, God is still working on me and he’ll straighten me up.

Did you know you are what you eat?

Of course you are, why wouldn’t you be, let’s look at it.

There is a restaurant down in the city by the name of McCorruptions. This restaurant serves up the finest in pagan delicacies such as:

1 hour of the morning news: Just the right stuff to get blood flowing first thing in morning.

1 hour of the morning zoo talk show: This is supposed to go down real smooth with that morning drive to work.

8 hours of secular music at work: Served with a spoonful of Britney Spears, a cup of Eminem, two sticks of N Sync, and a side order of 50 Cent.

1 hour of the local shock jock deejay: Of course we have to squeeze in the latest hijinx from this guy and his bathroom humor.

2 hours of Soap Operas: Well of course the VCR had to be taping something while we were at work.

2 hours of a sporting event: Mmmm good, this serves as the perfect night snack as we go to bed, just to wake and do it all again.

This restaurant, McCorruptions, seems to be doing well serving up all of this pagan food. There appears to always be a long line outside just waiting to suck up the items from this menu. But what amazes me, is that when I look at the line, I see many of our professing Christians on this line. Many of our professing Christians are feeding off of what the world has to offer in record groves. We are witnessing the church of Corinth in the 20th Century.

It is no wonder that we no longer witness great revivals. It is no wonder we can’t tell the believers from the unbelievers. It is no wonder our kids are growing up wanting to be back-up dancers in rap videos.

CHRISTIAN PEOPLE WAKE UP! YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT.

    Ephesians 4:17-24

So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every king of impurity, with a continual lust for more. You, however, did not come to know Christ that way. Surely you heard of him and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

What about you? Have you lost all sensitivity? You can’t possibly think that if you swallow up the menu from McCorruptions that you will be spiritually strong. Just the opposite, you have to be spiritually dead. Do you honestly think that going to church on Sunday alone will enable you to extinguish the flaming arrows of the evil one? No of course not, you will be taken out with the first arrow. There has to be a balance in the activities that you engage in on a daily basis. Not everything that the world offers will put out your light. But too much will. I, myself love to watch a good boxing match, play a computer game, watch a good movie, sometimes even a bad movie. But the Holy Spirit is only going to allow me to soak up so much of the world’s entertainment before he draws me back to the Lord and his kingdom.

What about you? Is the Holy Spirit drawing you back to the Lord? Do you feel that vacuum in your heart after being away from the Lord after many hours? If not, do you think that it’s time that you should examine yourself?

Did You Know that some pastors are keeping us in bondage?

    Ezra 9:9

Though we are slaves, our God has not deserted us in our bondage. He has shown us kindness in the sight of the kings of Persia: He has granted us new life to rebuild the house of our God and repair its ruins, and he has given us a wall of protection in Judah and Jerusalem.

Even in those days of ancient, God was revealing his light and hope to the slaves that were held in bondage by the kings of Persia. Even though they were labeled as slaves they still adored, worshipped and relied on the Living God as their source of protection, peace and salvation.

This same trust and faith was also held by many of the black slaves from the beginning of the 1600’s to the mid 1800’s. Even though they were enslaved, they abided by God’s law in treating their human masters.

    Ephesians 6:5

Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ.

I, personally take my hat off to these great men and women of the faith of yesteryear, because if I had lived with the same plight that they had to bear, my weakness would have turned me to the sword.

Well, so where are we today? Are we still living in the days of old, when many of us were horribly and despicably being whipped, forced to work in sweltering cotton fields, separated from our families, raped by our masters and deprived of our human rights. Are we still living in the days of old, when many of us were deprived from eating in many restaurants, from voting, from living in many towns, etc…? No, that is not the case today. Thanks to many of the great men and women, believers and non-believers who literally laid down their lives for our freedom and civil rights. Of course, there are still cases of discrimination out there, such as outrageous police beatings, unfavorable job hirings and promotions, housing, etc… I do not and will not undermine the many ways that the African American community are and may be discriminated against.

But the issue that I am concerned with is the men of the faith that will stand behind a podium and address God’s people and preach to them that the "white man" owes us an apology. An apology for what? What "white man" is he referring to? Is he referring to the nice people that I go roller-skating with, or what about those nice people from church who would treat me and my daughters to ice cream after service, or what about those nice people that have been discipling me in my walk with the Lord? How long should I wait around for this apology that you are referring to? Should I ask for this apology before we have the ice cream or after? Believe me, I’m not making a mockery of your fight? Even though I may be somewhat confused of what fight you are fighting, I do believe that your fight was not lead by the Holy Spirit. I also believe that you are doing nothing but bringing more division between the races. I also believe that if you are misleading your congregation on this matter, that there are probably other issues and scriptural teachings that they are being misled about. I also believe that you are keeping your congregation in bondage spiritually because there is no renewing of their minds with that kind of teaching. I also believe that you are also driving your congregation away from a Christ centered teaching to a more us-against-them teaching, which was probably inspired by one of the more reliable sources from the pit.

I do not deny that you may have seen many miscarriages in justice regarding matters that concern discriminatory issues, and believe me, I both sympathize and empathize with you. But what you propose as a possible solution or vindication, is not inspired by the Holy Spirit, so that would make it wrong. It is time for us to rebuild the house of God and repair the ruins, not carry the ruins around as a ransom.

Did you know that you will be assigned a place with the unbelievers?

This is meant for you my professing Christian brother and sister who believe that because of your loneliness, and your deception that God understands, that it’s okay if you continue to sleep around to fulfill your desires. You who believe that common-law marriages are okay.

This is meant for you my professing Christian brother and sister who partake in the persecuting of the saints at your job to get ahead. You who partake in the lies to cause that Christian brother who is on the front lines to look bad at the job.

This is meant for you my professing Christian brother and sister who laugh and make jokes with unbelievers at that Christian who is standing at the mall holding a sign that says, "Jesus Saves". You, who partake in calling that brother a fanatic, will never rest where he rests.

This is meant for you my professing Christian brother and sister whose Sunday’s church face is gone by Sunday afternoon and doesn’t come back on until the following Sunday.

This is meant for you my professing Christian brother and sister who callously walk past the homeless and think that there appearance on the highways, at the mall and on the streets brings down the property values and degrades society.

This is meant for you my professing Christian brother and sister who hate me who you are able to see, but claim to love God, whom you have not seen. You have been deceived and the truth is not in you.

This is meant for you my professing Christian brother and sister who hate church, and believe that the church is filled with a bunch of hypocrites. You who believe that you don’t need the church and you would rather not associate with those who put to much effort in trying to be as you call "religious". The reason you have no desire to join us is because you are not one of us.

This is meant for you my professing Christian brother and sister who hate the Christians of a different race. You black Christians, who hate the fellowship of white Christians, because you see them as "The Man". You white Christians who would tolerate black Christians, but just as long as they don’t come to your church. You have been deceived into thinking that you were baptized into the family.

This is meant for you my professing Christian brother and sister who carry the "Happy Hour Flag" for the unbelievers as your trolley off to the bars every Friday and Saturday. You, who claim that you are winning them for Christ, you have been deceived, especially when you boast of out-drinking many of them.

This is meant for you my professing Christian brother and sister who have walked out on your kids long ago to start a new life with a new family and believe that God has already forgiven you for that already. You who have not tried to make it right with your kids who cry in their beds every night to see their daddy or their mommy
    s face once again.

This is meant for you my professing Christian brother and sister who look and laugh hysterically when unbelievers want to make a mockery of our Lord and decide to gang up on me to have me contend for the faith. You who stand by and say "Let me see how he gets out of this one, Mr. know-it-all". You, who think that you are denying me, you are wrong, it is Christ that you are denying.

This is meant for you my professing Christian brother and sister who read these lines and say "Who does he think he is, he doesn’t know me, he can’t judge me, didn’t he read Matthew 7". The truth is my professing brother and sister, if this is what you believe, then you don’t know Matthew 7 and you don’t know Christ.

This is meant for you my professing Christian brother and sister who deny the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

This is meant for you my professing Christian brother and sister examine yourselves and be saved. I write these words because I love you and care for your salvation.

Did you know that I am going to miss you?

I am going to miss you because you have always been a great friend. We grew up together in the same neighborhood. Our parents knew that if we were not at home, then we were more than likely at the other’s house. We’ve always had a passion for the same type of toys, the same type of comic books, and then eventually, the same type of girls. We later would always find ourselves in competition for the same woman. No matter who would win the competition, our friendship was always solid as a rock. As we got older and our problems got bigger, we were always each other’s confidant. Whenever I needed someone to talk to, I knew that I could count on you, likewise I was there for you. Whenever I needed someone to loan me money, I knew that I could count on you, likewise I was there for you. Whenever I needed someone to watch my back in a fight, I knew that I could count on you, likewise I was there for you. Whenever I needed a shoulder to cry on, I knew that I could count on you, you never told me to stop crying and to toughen up, likewise I was there for you

That’s why you will be missed. You will be missed because you were special. But soon we will be parting ways, because where I am going, you cannot come. Because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer. I am going to the Father, because I have accepted through faith, his son Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. He has promised me a place in his Father’s house. But unfortunately, there is no room for you there. There is no room for you because you did not believe in the one who changed my life, you thought I was just going through a phase. You even got upset at times, when according to you; "I didn’t know when to leave it alone". I know that you are enjoying your life down here, and that you work hard during the week to justify your party life over the weekend. I even understand how good it makes you feel when you were able to hook up with one of the hottest women that was at the club. We have been close for so long that even though you know that I am a changed person, you still rush to the phone to boast about things that no longer matter, things that put you at risk for diseases, financial ruin and all sorts of drama, things that separate you further from God. You are my friend, you can continue to call me, you will never be turned away, you are loved dearly. But one day, you will not be able to call me. There will be a chasm separating you and me. I will not be able to cross over to where you are, and you will not be able to cross over to where I am. I will be in a place with light, peace, beauty, comfort, and rest and in the presence of the Living God. You will be in a place with darkness, torment, ugliness, distress, emptiness, and a sense of grief that will eat your insides out.
